B-Roll round 2!

This weekend I have to give a big shout-out to Caleb who was not only willing for me to be there so long and take up his entire day, but he was actively collaborating with me and suggesting options that could enhance the project, many of which actually came to fruition.

We set up a time lapse video set up to watch Caleb draw a sketch to assist him in a new painting we'll be filming as well. The time lapse worked out nicely and we took our time to make the sketch as good as possible given the time frame we had.

After the time lapse I captured some candid showcasing of Caleb's artwork as he looked through all of his old sketches and pieces he's done over the years. We found things like his first portrait, pre-accident sketches, and newest paintings with color. He picked out a few key pieces and told some stories to go along with them. I also had the idea for him to give us (me and the camera) a tour of his tools and what he uses different things for.

This weekend I have to give a big shoutout to Caleb who was not only willing for me to be there so long and take up his entire day, but he was actively collaborating with me and suggesting options that could enhance the project, many of which actually came to fruition. One thing we had to figure out together was the size of the sketch and painting and how we would set it up in relation to the lights and camera. He had great ideas that ultimately proved valuable and he's been a great collaborator.
